1. Sampling method:
Pump-suction gas detectors generally use an air pump to sample air during sampling, while diffusion-type gas detectors sample by freely allowing air to enter the instrument.
2. Detection speed:
The diffusion gas detector will be affected by the air flow rate during the sampling process, so its detection efficiency will be slower than that of the pump-suction gas detector, while the detection speed of the pump-suction gas detector is very fast.
3. Application occasions:
The main application field of the diffusion gas detector is in open places, such as in unclosed workshops, while the application of the pump-suction gas detector is relatively special, such as tunnels, pipelines, sewers, tanks, sealed containers and other places where gas detection is required.
4. Use cost:
When using a diffusion gas detector, whether it is manufacturing cost or later maintenance cost, its use cost will be much lower than that of a pump-suction gas detector.
